One More Week

Til this momma has to go back to work :(

I have had so much fun staying home with my boy the last few weeks! We have had more lunch dates and more shopping trips than you can imagine! It is safe to say that I cannot afford to be a stay-at-home mom! I enjoy shopping way too much! Kevin is ready for me to get back to work and stop spending!

Carter and I have enjoyed our time with NiNi. She is a huge helper around the house and on our daily adventures. NiNi will be keeping CartWil while I'm working, and I know they will have a blast! I'm sure he will be spoiled rotten in no time flat! (OK, he may already be just a little spoiled!)

One Month Old

Carter Wilson is one month old!

He is 9 pounds and 21.5 inches long. He is growing so fast!

Last week we started putting him in his own room in the crib to sleep at night. He has done great! He sleep between 6 and 8 hours each night, wakes to eat, then goes right back to sleep! God knew that we are sleepers around here! Even when I do have to get up at 3:30am, I just love holding that baby boy!

Carters first Easter was a blast! We joined the family at Uncle Dave and Aunt Lynda's house for food, Easter treats and the April birthday celebration. Due to the rain, we had more of a trick or treat type Easter instead of an egg hunt. The Easter Bunny was good to Carter!

Bluebonnet Bliss!?!?!

Last Saturday we headed out with the family to enjoy the bluebonnets and get some family pictures! We found just the perfect spot.Carter was perfect! As for the other kids, well, the pictures don't show their true feelings! They were less than impressed with our requests for them to sit down in the field and smile or act happy! Let's just say Poppie was bribing with ice cream, while the adults were begging for a margarita!

On March 12, 2012 at 10:49PM, our precious baby boy entered the world! Carter weighed 6 lbs, 15 ounces and was 20 inches long. Daddy was the first to meet him and he was instantly in love!
